We are seeking a highly motivated Satellite Operations Specialist to join our team in managing and optimizing satellite operations. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in monitoring satellite performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring mission success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Mission Monitoring: Oversee satellite operations, including real-time monitoring of satellite telemetry, tracking, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Anomaly Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve anomalies or irregularities in satellite operations, collaborating with engineering teams to implement corrective measures.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and execute mission schedules, including payload operations, orbital maneuvers, and system calibrations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze satellite data to evaluate system performance and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • System Upgrades and Testing: Participate in the testing, integration, and implementation of new satellite systems and upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory standards and prepare required documentation and reports for governing bodies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with ground station teams, engineering departments, and clients to support mission objectives and troubleshoot issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in satellite operations, mission control, or related space systems.
  • Proficiency in satellite communication protocols, telemetry systems, and tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with orbital mechanics, mission planning tools, and satellite payload operations.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard satellite control software and ground systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing satellite operations, such as ITU and FCC guidelines.
  • Experience in working with GEO, MEO, or LEO satellite constellations.
